Ligang Wu is a Professor of Control Science and Engineering at Harbin Institute of Technology, Harbin, China. He received the PhD degree in Control Theory and Control Engineering in 2006 from Harbin Institute of Technology, China. He has been a (Senior) Research Associate in the University of Hong Kong, City University of Hong Kong and Imperial College London from 2006 to 2008. In 2008, he joined the Harbin Institute of Technology, China, as an Associate Professor, and was then promoted to a Professor in 2012.
Professor Wu's research interests include complex hybrid dynamical systems, signal processing, big data focused on industrial electronics applications, event-based control, aircraft control, and model reduction. He has published 3 monographs and more than 110 papers in refereed international journals. He currently serves as an Associate Editor (or an Editorial Board Member) for journals including IEEE Transactions on Automatic Control, IEEE Access, Information Sciences, Signal Processing, IET Control Theory and Applications, Circuits Systems and Signal Processing.
Adel Haghani is a research fellow with the Institute of Automation, University of Rostock, Germany. He received the Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Duisburg-Essen, Germany, in 2012. His research interests include process control, machine learning and fault diagnosis.
Abdul Qayyum KHAN
Abdul Qayyum Khan is an associate professor with the Department of Electrical Engineering, Pakistan Institute of Engineering and Applied Sciences. He obtained the Ph.D. degree in Engineering Sciences from the Institute of Automatic Control and Complex Systems, Germany in 2010. His research interests include fault diagnosis, process monitoring, linear/nonlinear observer design, robust and optimal control design, and nonlinear systems.
